Patient Assessments at The Bradley Center in Columbus, GA

Assessing your Condition is the First Step Toward Mental Health Treatment

When problems interfere with your quality of life, you can call The Bradley Center for a free confidential assessment by an admissions associate. Based upon your (or your child's) problem, a psychiatrist will work with you to determine what level of care is best. The goal of the assessment is to provide you (or the physician who referred you) with a comprehensive assessment and recommendations for treatment.

During the assessment process, our mental health professionals will explore issues, such as:

  • Alcohol and other drug dependency
  • Anxiety or other mood disorders
  • Depression
  • Sexual, physical or emotional abuse
  • Family or work related problems
  • Eating disorders
  • Cognitive impairments
  • Behavioral problems

To get started, call The Bradley Center at (706) 320-3700 for an appointment, obtain a referral from your healthcare professional, or simply walk in. Following the initial assessment, our staff will discuss appropriate care based on your (or your child's) needs. These options may include inpatient hospitalization, day treatment programs, or referral to an outpatient therapist or physician.

As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Healthcare System has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
