Cancer Education at the John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus, GA

Knowledge is empowering and we want to provide our community and the patients we serve with the knowledge needed to prevent cancer, and to conquer it when faced with a cancer diagnosis. At the John B. Amos Cancer Center, we believe that empowering our patients and their families with knowledge and resources about cancer care, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention is a necessary step in giving back to the community that helped build us up.

Our Resource Center is a great place for those who are seeking information about anything from healthy eating to published studies on various types of cancer.

Information is available in a variety of formats, including books, CDs, tapes (audio and video), and DVDs. A touch screen kiosk makes it easy for anyone to find relevant information, and an educator is always ready to assist you.
