The John B. Amos Cancer Center takes a full-service, interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Oncology specialists and state-of-the-art technology combined with numerous services support our goal of providing the highest level of total care.

Working on your behalf is a medical team of experienced board-certified oncologists (MDs), advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs) and many others who will guide you through your treatment. Your team may also include additional physician specialists, clinical researchers, case manager associates, clinical counselors, pharmacists, radiation physicists and therapists, oncology- and chemotherapy-certified nurses and registered dietitians. Behind-the-scenes, administrative and clinical support staffs are ensuring your visit is timely and complete.

Our team works as a unit to make sure that every detail of care is handled to the best of our ability, from staying on top of the latest equipment and industry developments, to making sure you and your family are comfortable every step of the way.

As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Health has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
