The Simon W. Schwob Medical Library at Midtown Medical Center, located on the 4th floor of Midtown Medical Center in the Educational Tower, is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is (706) 571-1179. The library offers a variety of resources for research on medical and health care topics, including textbooks and journals, online health information, information specific for health care professionals, information for consumers, clinical research, classroom preparation, university study and personal health issues.

Materials may only be used in the library, but photocopies are only 10 cents a page. (Please bring change.) Our librarian is available to help guide visitors to the best resources.

The John B. Amos Cancer Center, located at 1831 5th Avenue near the Midtown Medical Center campus, features a cancer health library that offers computer access to cancer health databases. Patients, family members and visitors are welcome to access the latest information on cancer-related topics.

As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Health has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
