Case For Support

Find out what donors are saying about why they support Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center.

"The pediatric services that The Medical Center provide the
Chattahoochee Valley are remarkable. The ability to provide such high-
quality services greatly depends on the support of the community. We
support the Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center knowing
that every cent donated directly ensures these types of services are
available for our grandchildren, our family and friends’ children, and
the other thousands of children that depend on The Medical Center to
make them better. Since our granddaughter, Ruthie, was born we
now call The Medical Center The Miracle Center."

Rick and Marquette McKnight, former Honorary Co-Chairs of the
Children’s Miracle Network

"The CMN's extraordinary support of the High Risk Nursery made it
possible for our 1 lb., 11oz. granddaughter to grow into a beautiful,
vibrant 11-year-old today."

Bob and Linda Willmschen

"Our local CMN chapter was the critical difference that transformed
our daughter's stay in the hospital from ordinary to extraordinary."

Blair and Lesslie Carnahan, Honorary Co-Chairs for the Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center 2007 - 2008

"Our tenure as Honorary Co-Chairs for CMN was one of the most
rewarding experiences we’ve shared. All the funds
we raised through our Smiles For Life program stayed in Columbus to
help local children. Brightening smiles to brighten a child’s life!
What’s more beautiful than a child’s smile!"

Dr. and Mrs. James Lopez
Honorary Co-Chairs for the Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center 2003 - 2004

As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Health has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
