5k/10k Run

The 2013 Celebrity Classic 5K/10K River Run will be held Saturday, April 13, at the Infantry Museum. In 2012, over 350 participants joined us at this new venue for a scenic course along the Chattahoochee Riverwalk. The run concludes with an award presentation recognizing top finishers in all age categories.
 
The addition of a 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run to an already outstanding event has given the Celebrity Classic even greater recognition in our community and will help raise additional funds for the John B. Amos Cancer Center. We hope to more than double last year’s participation level so grab your running shoes and meet us at the river!
As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Healthcare System has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
