Celebrity Classic Golf TournamentCome relax and enjoy a "Classic" golfing experience.

The Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament will be held Monday, April 15, at the Green Island Country Club, one of the South’s most beautiful courses and site of the PGA Tour’s Southern Open from 1967-1990. Golfers can chose from a morning or afternoon tee time and will enjoy deluxe tee packages and food while playing alongside local and regional golf pros. The Junior Golf Clinic will be held Sunday, April 14, at First Tee Golf Course, giving junior golfers the opportunity to receive superior instruction from the Columbus State University Golf Team.

The tournament begins with morning registration. Coffee and a light breakfast are served while team members examine their deluxe tee packages that have become a hallmark of the Celebrity Classic. Registration for afternoon golfers open sprior to the lunch buffet. The day ends with a 19th hole celebration complete with beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres served in the ballroom of the Country Club. Players then relax and enjoy the presentation of awards.
