Gingerbread Jubilee 2012

Gingerbread Jubilee is a two day event and last year, we had over 3,000 people attend. We heard overwhelming positive feedback last year and believe we will have one of the most successful holiday events in our area. Gingerbread Jubilee will be November 18- 19 at the RiverMill Event Centre, Columbus’ premier event facility. This event is free to the community to attend and is a holiday tradition for parents and children.

National Pancake Day

Since 2006, IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day, giving away free short stacks and asking customers to consider donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since that time IHOP has given away more than 10.5 million pancakes and raised nearly $8 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Your donation will go directly to Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center in Columbus, Ga. Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center offers advanced services in pediatric care such as their High Risk Nursery and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In 2011, The Medical Center had over 30,000 pediatric visits, over 3,100 babies born, about 25% of which spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and over 900 pediatric surgeries. Every day the dedicated doctors and nurses in the Children’s Center and all three of their nurseries are treating our children, grandchildren and those of our neighbors.

Tip A Snake will be Tuesday, March 6, at the Civic Center and is presented by TIC Federal Credit Union and the Columbus Cottonmouths.

Tip A Snake a sit down dinner and silent auction with the Cottonmouth players serving as your waiters for the evening.

 

 

Scott’s Ride for Miracles
Friday, May 4 – May 25


Scott Ressmeyer and 13 other Miracle Riders are riding through all 48 lower states in 21 days to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center. This will be the fourth year that Scott has taken this journey, and in only the first three years Scott’s Ride for Miracles has raised over $280,000 for CMN! Ultimately, Scott and the Miracle Riders have pledged to raise $1 million over the course of the ride’s history.

The Miracle Riders leave on Friday, May 4 for their journey across the country and will return on Friday, May 25. Follow them and read about their experiences at www.rideformiracles.com.
