The 38-bed, 38,000-square foot facility features 16 semi-private, four private and two isolation rooms, a suite to help patients in activities of daily living, a gymnasium with physical and occupational areas, and a therapeutic pool.
The majority of the patients here are referred from acute care hospitals as an option for discharge. The hospital also accepts physician referrals. Most are scheduled for up to three hours of therapy each day, which speeds the recovery process and brings patients one step closer to returning home.
Regional Rehabilitation Hospital also features an education room and two day rooms where patients and their family members can learn about the recovery process.
