Respiratory Care at Doctors Hospital
At Doctors Hospital, Respiratory Care consists of two modalities of care – Cardio and Pulmonary.
The Cardio section consists of a group of highly skilled technicians who perform diagnostic studies of the heart and vascular system. We work closely with our physicians to diagnose cardiovascular disorders in our inpatient and outpatient population. These studies include:
-
Cardiac Echocardiography (ECHO)
-
Venous/Arterial (Carotid) Dopplers
-
Electroencephalograms (EEG)
-
Electrocardiograms (EKG)
-
Cardiac Stress Testing
-
Holter Monitors
The Pulmonary or Respiratory Care section is made up of a number of experienced and highly trained Respiratory Therapists. These therapists work closely with physicians, nurses and other specialists to address the dynamic conditions that affect the way we breathe. We provide treatments to patients in all areas of inpatient and outpatient care using the latest therapies and technology, including:
-

-
Aerosol/Bronchodilator Therapy
