In addition to the Family Medicine and Transitional Year residencies, The Medical Center serves as a primary training site for medical students from both allopathic and osteopathic schools of medicine around the United States and the world. We have established clinical affiliations with:

For more information and to apply for a clinical clerkship at The Medical Center, please contact our Medical Student Coordinator. You will need a letter of endorsement from your school sent to the address listed below. Your letter should designate a contact person responsible for evaluations upon completion of the clerkship experience.

Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
