Pastoral Care at Doctors Hospital

We believe each person is deserving of the highest level of attention during an illness or personal crisis. It is our endeavor to make available emotional and spiritual support to each of our patients, their families and employees.

The primary services of the Pastoral Care Department include:

  • Patient rounds
  • Responding to deaths, codes and traumas
  • Responding to referrals from staff
  • Conducting daily devotional times
  • Availability to each patient, family member and employee to offer emotional and spiritual support
  • Referrals for counseling through the Employee Assistance Program

Meditation Service at Doctors Hospital

A brief devotional service is held at 8 a.m. every Monday morning in the Doctors Hospital solarium for patients, family and staff who would like to attend.
