Pursue Your Healthy Birth

Attend class once a week for five weeks

This series of 5 two-hour classes provides an overview of what to expect during childbirth: signs, symptoms and stages of labor, pain management techniques, medications and birthing options available at The Medical Center and Doctors Hospital. This is an important and informative class, especially for first time parents. PLEASE NOTE LOCATION OF CLASS WHEN YOU SIGN UP. CLASSES ARE TAUGHT AT THE MEDICAL CENTER CONFERENCE CENTER OR COLUMBUS REGIONAL EDUCATION CENTER.

The Childbirth Preparation Series should ideally be scheduled to be completed within 2-4 weeks prior to the mother's due date. If you have special circumstances, please call us at 706-660-2693 for guidance.

*No refunds are given for prenatal classes unless there is a medical reason for the inability to attend. We will be happy to transfer your registration to a different date or another class of equal value.

As the region's leading provider of healthcare, Columbus Regional Health has touched the lives of most of the children and adults in this region through its comprehensive network of services. Located in the West Georgia city of Columbus, Columbus Regional was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit health services organization, but its roots can be traced back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small wooden building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
