Some cancer diagnosis and treatment procedures can often be performed with interventional radiology, or minimally invasive, image based surgical procedures. At the Doctors Hospital in Columbus, GA, we offer a number of cancer care services:

  • Core biopsies of suspected tumor lesions
  • Endovascular therapy of primary and metastatic tumors to the liver with transarterial catheter- directed chemoembolization
  • Percutaneous ablative therapy for primary and metastatic disease to liver, lung, kidney, soft- tissue, adrenal gland, bone
  • Pleurex catheter placement for malignant pleural effusions and ascites
  • Hickman catheter, Apheresis catheter and CT Power-injectable Chest and Arm Ports
