Meeting your Doctor

Your first consultation will usually follow a three-step process:

#1 Your doctor will review your records, conduct an examination, and discuss your diagnosis and preliminary treatment plan.
#2 You may be asked to see additional specialists or undergo additional tests or procedures.
#3 Your doctor may discuss participation in a clinical trial. If so, a member of the research team will meet with you to discuss the clinical trial in detail.
