Wound Care

Columbus Regional Wound Care

A cut or sore that won't go away may be cause for serious concern, especially if you're a diabetic.

The Columbus Regional Wound Center is located on The Medical Center campus and offers advanced wound care therapies, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (used in the treatment of oxygen related diving injuries), to promote healing of difficult wounds and injuries in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

Wound Care Services

Evaluation
At the Columbus Regional Wound Center, we begin by examining the problem area(s), learning about your medical condition and assessing your overall health. In addition, we consult with your primary physician to ensure coordinated, seamless care.

With a thorough medical evaluation and the information provided by your primary care physician, we’ll explore the nature of your wound and its underlying causes. We’ll then design a customized program for you.

Treatment
During the course of your treatment, your progress will be monitored carefully and managed expertly by a highly specialized team of caregivers, led by our medical directors. Best of all, you can look forward to a comforting, nurturing approach to healing, including the convenience of outpatient treatment.

Under our care, your difficult wounds receive expert care, so you can enjoy the greatest possibility of success.

If you’re concerned with a difficult wound, contact us for an appointment. With the proper treatment, your wound can be healed and your peace of mind restored.
