The 2009 Celebrity Classic 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run will be held Saturday, April 18, along the beautiful Columbus Riverwalk, a course that received high praise from our 2008 participants.

This year, participants will once again join us for this very scenic run along the beautiful Chattahoochee Riverwalk. The run will begin and end at Rotary Park where runners can relax with great food, drinks and entertainment. The event will conclude with an awards presentation recognizing top finishers in all age categories.

The addition of a 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run to an already outstanding event has given the Celebrity Classic even greater recognition in our community and will help raise additional funds for the John B. Amos Cancer Center. We hope to more than double last year’s participation level so grab your running shoes and meet us at the river!
