Columbus, GA – The Columbus Regional Medical Foundation will host its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center.
The luncheon serves as a day of hope and an opportunity to raise money for breast cancer services in our community. The luncheon also promotes early detection as the key to surviving breast cancer.
This year’s luncheon, “Breast Cancer Awareness can be a Life-saver,” will feature Carmen Agra-Deedy, an inspirational speaker, story teller and award winning author of children’s books.
Tickets are $50 per person and $400 per table. All proceeds raised during the luncheon will benefit the Foundation's Women's Breast Cancer Support Fund. The fund has been established to help working, insured women with prohibitively high deductibles and limited coverage for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
